The pie charts illustrate the percentage of online retail shopping sales in 4 categories: travel, films, and music, books, clothes in New Zealand during the 10 years period from 2003 to 2013.
To put it in a nutshell, the most significant proportion belongs to travel and film or music in 2013.
What can be inferred from the first pie chart is that as regards 2003, sales or travel preponderated with over one third. Coming in the next ranks were clothes (24%) and film and music (21%). Lastly, books only occupied just under a fifth. What is worth mentioning the two years is that there was a huge escalation of 14% in the trade of film and music. Additionally, it is obvious that the amount of travel and clothes sold on the Internet decline by 7% and 8%, respectively.
Turning to the year of 2013, it can be seen from the second chart that film and music items were in the majority with 33%. This was followed by travel and books, with respective percentages being 29% and 22%. Lastly, clothes saw a strong decrease to 16%.
