The picture below illustrates the area of Garlsdon where a new supermarket will be built. There are two options to place the new supermarket, either in the middle of central town or in the countryside.
The position of the first site is in the countryside, north-east of the map. The location is quite far away from town center, but it connects both Hindon and Garlsdon city which have over than 70,000 population. Besides, infrastructure such as railway and also main road help to increase accessibility to the supermarket. However, the distance will be further for those who live in Cransdon and Bransdon. The other plan will locate the supermarket inside the town center, which is traffic-free zone, and also surrounded by industrial areas. In this area, supermarket will be easier to reach because it is located in the middle, and able to shorten the distance for consumers to buy groceries.
To sum up, this illustration covers the plan to build supermarket in two different locations: inside the town and at the side of the town.
