The chart shows the comparison of the proportion that differentiate by gender in Malaysia who exercise regularly in the year 2010. Overall, Malaysian female was known to exercise more than male in all of age groups, except of group of 15-24.
Male in 15-24 exercised more regularly than female, resulting in, had more percentage of over 50%, while female had less difference with less than 50%. However, the rest of age groups, male was lost in percentage. Male in 25 to 34 experienced a downfall of percentage with just over 40%, and the number kept decreasing slightly to nearly 40% for the group 35 to 44. Moreover, male in 45 to 54, 55 to 64, and 65 and over, showed more interest in exercising as the percentage rose to around 40%, 45%, and 46% respectively. The latter had similar percentage as female.
In the other hand, female with range of age between 25 to 34, had percentage on exercising of nearly 50%. The number increased to over 50% for age group of 35 to 44. The similar measurement also occured for both age groups of 45 to 54 and 55 to 64.
