The reading is about "let it burn' policy and the damage it can cause and provides three reasons to support it. However, the professor opposes the article and believe that it's a natural cycle of nature and it's the good one and refuse each reason.
Firstly, the article claims that this policy caused tremendous damage to trees and vegetation. The lecturer contends that this scorch makes an opportunity for smaller plants that need space to grow and also there is a chance for growing some plants that need high heat to growth.
Second, the reading states that wildlife was affected and many small animals unable to scape. In opposite the professor believed that these new small plant that growth makes a habitat for small animals such as rabbits and not only don't disturb the chain food but also make new stronger certain chain food.
Thirdly, the passage asserts that fires affected parks as tourist attractions. the lecture opposes this point by saying that it's not only because of fire, maybe because of dryness and the tourist will come back next year and the year after that.
