The bar graph depicts the ratio of male and female research students in united states studying sixc computer science subjects in the year 2011.
Overall, it is clearly seen that the number of male students studying computer science subjects were significantly greater than females. In addition, more male researchers involved in mathematics and natural sciences while maximum number of females researchers observed in studying natural sciences .
In mathematics , two hundreds male students were doing the research whereas approximately forty female researchers were involved in this. Furthermore, in programming and engineering the number of male researchers was one fifty while the ratio of female was nearly about hundred. In natural sciences, the number was same for both males and females ,consequently more students engaged in this subject among all.
However,in psychology , the number was increased with twenty five more male students engaged on comparing with female reserchers . On the contrary, the number of female researchers were more in linguistics than men.
