The diagram below shows how orange juice is produced.
The given diagram details the step by step procedure of how orange juice is produced. The whole process passes through eight stages as discussed below from initial fresh oranges to the final products in the market.
Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the process starts from delivering the fresh oranges to a factory, where it undergoes different phases before entering into a supermarket.
According to the illustration, first of all, the fresh oranges are transported into a factory, where fruits are washed thoroughly before switching into the next stage. After being washed properly, the fruit is passed through an extraction machine, which squeezes the fresh juice leaving behind the solid waste to be eaten up by the animals.
At this stage, the extracted juice is divided to be packed in two different ways. Some part of the juice is packed directly to be ready to reach the consumers. The latter part of the juice is transferred into a refrigerated truck, which is then moved into an evaporation unit. Having been evaporated to remove all the water, the concentrated juice is then packed in the small cans before shifting them to a warehouse. Further, water is mixed in the cans in a factory after which packaged drinks are transported in the consumer's market.
