The graph below shows information about the recruitment of the teachers in Ontario between 2001 and 2007

What is depicted in the line graph is that the number of first-year teachers from England and France employed in Ontario over 6-year period from 2001 to 2007

Overall, what stands out from the graph is that while there was a slight increase in the figure for French-language teachers, that for English ones fell sharply between 2001 and 2007. Also noteworthy is the fact that in the beginning, the percentage of English teachers took the lead, but was knock down from the top by the French at the end of the survey.

Looking at the details, with regards to teachers of French, having started at 70% in 2001, the recruitment rate dropped slowly to about 50%. However, following this, the ratio of French teachers recovered to its starting point. Then, it went through a moderate growth and finished at under 75%.

Conversely, despite the similar commencement as French teachers, the employment of new graduates from English decreased dramatically to 40% in 2003. During the following 2 years, the number acquiring jobs rose mildly to 44% before plummeting to just over 25% in 2007.
