1.Apology for damagig it
2. What happened
3 say how you are going to fix the issue
Dear Brijesh,
I am writing this letter to say sorry for the damage of your brand new laptop that I have borrowed from you yesterday. Believe me, although I’ve taken good care, the situation was out of my control.
Let me explain the situation at length. Actually, yesterday only I’ve asked you to provide your laptop to prepare presentation for final submission for university exams. After completion the project at late night, I have kept laptop in charging. Owing to tiredness of whole day, I slept and laptop was plugging for the whole night. Unfortunately, when I tried to switch it on today morning, the laptop screen was totally blank. So I think something wrong happened due to overcharging.
I’m a technophobe person, so to get it back to its normal situation, I have already talked with one of my friends who have his own business of computer sales and repairing. I will meet him at earliest and resolve the issue of your laptop and hand over it.
Really I am feeling regret about the situation but hope you will forgive me.
Warm wishes,
Nirav
