The diagrams shows significant changes that have taken place in the area where West Park Secondary School was constructed over the period of 30 years i.e in 1980 and 2010 respectively.
Since it's construction in 1950, the main road and the school's main building had remained intact while there were some significant development in other regions.
As shown in 1980, the housing areas were completely removed in order to build science block, which was completely seperate from the school's main building along. Not only that, a portion of that area was then converted into car parking lot. Also, in the same year, the farmland was completely overhauled in favor of a sports field for the students.
By 2010, the car parking area has been expanded further, engulfing the entire area previosly occupied by the sports field. Also, in the same year, the sports field was then alloted and build over a significant portion of the playground.
