The charts below show three types of police reports from the city of Johnstown in 2016, along with Johnstown’s average monthly temperature.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The bargraph shows the number of police reports registered for theft, noise complaints and traffic violations quarterly for the town on Johnstown in the year 2016. Also, the below graph shows the average temperature observed each month in Johnstown for the calendar year 2016.
As it can be seen from the bargraph, amongst all the violations, the traffic violations reported quarterly has been at the peek for each quarter for the year 2016. Also, the trend is same for the least number of police reports, with noise complaints taking the bottom for the entire calendar year.
The temperature-month graph shows that the average temperature in Johnstown was at it's least in the month of January. After that month, the average temperature steadily climbed up and reached it's peek in the month of July. After July, there was a steady decline in average temperature each month till the end of the year.
Also, for both graphs, it can be seen that there is a correlation between the theft reports in bargraph and the average temperature in the other graph. Both of them reported their least outputs at start of the year, showing an increase in the middle of the year and again declining in the last quarter of 2016.
