The first line graph shows the average world oil price for each year from 1970 to 2005. The second chart shows the top seven oil exporting countries and how much they export each day.
The two graphs below show the oil prices from 1970 to 2005 and the number of oil barrels sold every day in 2005 from top 6 oil exporting countries.
From the first chart, the oil price from 9 dollars from 1970, which is the lowest price, slightly increased to 15 dollars in 1973. Then, it rapidly jumped to 46 dollars in 1974. The oil price after that big jump stayed stable about 44 dollars each barrel until 1979. A quickly risen to 80 dollars in 1980 and achieve the highest price in the gap - 85 dollars after 1 year. After the peak from 1981, the cost of each oil barrel freely drop to 26 dollars in 1986. Afterward, the value of oil was unbalance which was shifting between 18 and 35 dollars each barrel from 197 to 2003. Lastly, from 2003 the price steeply increased to 51 dollars in 2005.
From the second chart, top 6 most oil exporting countries in ascending order in 2005 was Nigeria, UAE, Iran, Norway, Russia and Saudi Arabia. The four countries Nigeria, UAE, Iran and Norway seemed the nearly equivalence in the amount of exporting barrels from 2.4 to 2.8 millions of barrels a day. Russia had 7.7 millions barrels, which was a three quarter of the sums of 4 listed countries. And the largest oil exporting country, Saudi Arabia was sold 9 millions barrels of oil per day, which equaled the sums of 4 countries Nigeria to Norway.
Overall, oil market was the inconstant income and the market share over the world was not equal.
