The maps below show the changes that have taken place at the waterfront area of a town called Darwin between 2009 and 2014.
The two maps gives us the information about the area alongside the waterbody of Darwin town from 2009 and 2014.
The industrial area covered half of the Darwin town in 2009. However, that huge area was being substituted by the new footpath to the harbor which was new compare to 2009 map and a hefty forest make the waterfront area become greener and its atmosphere is fresher. At the center of the map, three residential buildings were built up new in 2014 beside three buildings were already built in 2009. New university building was built on the left of the residential building area. The industrial inside the rounded foot path in 2009 had been changed to a swimming pool.
Beside the difference of the dockland between 2009 and 2014, there were some unchanged objects. On the top of the map, there have been a fishing area since 2009. The school, convention center and 2 pools around the footpath at Northside were also unreplaced. The lake and small tree park inside the walkway also unaltered despite the change of industrial are next to them.
Overall, there is absolutely big replacement that affect the overall view of Darwin town especially the industrial area although there are some buildings and area are consisted.
