The map below shows the changes that have taken place at the waterfront area of a town called Darwin between 2009 and 2014.
The map depicts information regarding the transformation of the waterfront area of a town called Darwin from 2009 to 2014. Overall, this area has experienced extensive change, the most noticeable of which is the town was used mainly for residential purposes.
On the eastern side of the area, the main road which was besieged from the western side, and the fishing area at the end of that road were remained unchanged. Besides, the school, convention center, and swimming pool which adjacent to circle road were remained intact in size and position. Moreover, in the circle road, a lake was established in the place that was formerly occupied by an industrial area while the lake and trees were conserved.
On the western side of the area, a footpath stretching from the main road has been constructed providing access to the harbor. Additionally, three new blocks of residential buildings were erected raising the total number of buildings to six while a university building was established. Furthermore, the industrial area was flattened and made way for vegetation whereas a third swimming pool was still located at the same position in 2009.
