The graph illustrates, the ratio of UK investment in Solar, wind, energy smart technologies and others clean energy in 8 years, from 2008 to 2015.
Overall, as shown in bar chart, the ratio of investment in different alternatives energy power was in increasing trend, while, lowest investment was done in 2008 and highest was in 2015.
To begin with, as the chart represent, in 2008, roughly 2.5 billion pound investment was made by UK, as this is the significant portion among the investment. However, in next year investment increase rapidly and reached nearly 7 billion pound. But in 2010, investment ratio decrease by significant portion, by just 1% and remain constant in 2011 with the ratio of 6 billion pound. While, from 2012, the UK government start increasing their investment in clean energy by knowing their importance, and the ratio start increasing gradually and cross 10 billion pound in 2014. Moreover, in 2015, UK government made an insignificant investment in clean energy, reached around 15 billion pound, hence, this ratio is the highest among over the period.
