The charts below show the proportion of British students at one university in England who were able to speak other languages in addition to English, in 2000 and 2010.
The above pie graphs give information about the amount of native pupils in one college of England who have learnt languages except from their vernacular in two various years, 2000 and 2001.
Overall, it is clear that although students who learned Spanish only were in high percentage in two years, the other great group was different. In 2000 next high proportion was for no other languages, on the other hand ten years later another language category was greater.
In figure one, two categories which allocated most of the percentage of scholars’ records was 30 for Spanish only and 20 for no other languages. In addition, 15% was devoted for both French only and another languages portions simultaneously. Finally, a same proportion of 10 were devoted to individuals who known German only and two other languages in this particular year.
In figure two, like the other year, high percentage of 35 of students were fond of learning Spanish only and the other 20% educated another languages. Furthermore, another one in fifteen of them were speaking two other languages. Eventually, similar proportion of them with 10% were interested in 3 diverse parts of German only, French only and no other languages which all of them declined from ten years ago.
