While the bar graph denotes the quantity of money that was expended on ready-made meals such as hamburgers,fish and chips and pizza for each week by three various groups of people coming from variety level of salary which was people with high,average and low earnings,the line graph reveals the changes in consuming respective foods between 1970 and 1990 in U.K.
Looking from the overall perspective,as is illustrated by the first figure these prepared foods were highly popular among people,who has got high and average amount of salary,whereas these quick prepared foods were less common among group of people who were earning low salary.Also,it is evident from the information Supplied by the second graph that consumption of hamburgers compared to other fast foods saw a remarkable raise in a 20-year period.
As can be seen by the bar graph the major amount of money went on buying hamburgers among people with satisfying and standard salary which was just over 40 pence per week and slightly more than 30 pence for each week respectively.nevertheless,the least amount of money spent on having pizza by people with normal and minimal earnings which was almost close to 25 pence and just over 5 pence receptively.
As it is apparent from the data provided by the line graph,even though both consumption of hamburgers and pizza climbed exponentially from just under 100 grammes to over 500 grammes , and from approximately 50 grammes to almost close to 300 grammes respectively,the amount of fish and chips that consumed ,saw a steady drop from 300 grammes to over than 200 grammes in a period of 20 years.
