The given tables detail the statistical survey report comparing the sales figure of coffee and bananas under the brand name 'Fairtrade' in five European countries for two different years 1999 and 2004 respectively.
Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the sales revenue in all but two of the countries with regard to bananas increased significantly over time. Also, among all the countries, the UK witnessed a dramatic jump in the sale of both commodities.
According to the given illustration, to begin with, Switzerland recorded the highest sales in coffee, at 3 million euros, compared to the UK at 1.5, Denmark(1.8), Belgium(1), and Sweden just 0.8 million euros. However, whilst with a marginal ascend Denmark, Belgium, and Sweden went up to 2, 1.7, and 1 million euros in 2004, Switzerland doubled its sales and the UK grew 14 times higher in the respective sales.
Turning to bananas, the UK sold the maximum bananas worth 15 million euros in 1999, however, the same trebled in 5 years period. In addition, Switzerland and Denmark also climbed from 1 to 5.5 million euros and 0.6 to 4 million euros in the given period. In contrast, Belgium, and Sweden experienced a slight plummet, as the former plunged to a million euros from 1.8 in 1999, while the latter slacked down to half of the previous value.
