In 2006, Myspace was the most popular site with the amount of 62 million users, followed by LinkedIn for 8 million. However, the popularity of Myspace was gradually decreasing until almost the end of the period, while LinkedIn slowly went up every year and reached 260 million enjoyers. Not only LinkedIn that successfully gained more users but also Facebook as the top social media site downloaded in the world, with 1,200 million users, followed by Twitter in the second of 1,000 million people. In addition, there are social platforms that became known by the halfway of the years such as Instagram, Line, and Pinterest, with the highest for 300 million downloaders in Line.
In conclusion, Myspace was placed at the top at the beginning of the period, subsequently began the least famous in the end even it had a little step up from the previous year.
