In the past, most people lived in small villages where everyone knew everyone else. Nowadays, most people live in large cities where they only know a few people in their area.
what do you think were the advantages and disadvantages of living in a small community?
In the modern world, the people tend to live in big cities. While in the past, the people lived in small villages. There were advatages and disadvantages about lived in small villages.
In my view, there were four main advantages. Firstly, the people felt comfortable because there were quiet and peaceful environment. They also felt safe with local food. Although few people, everyone were enthusiastic and friendly. Finally, with low standard of living, the people could easily enjoy their life with less money.
I think many of the advantages were financial. At small villages had low demand for jobs and the people had low income. Beside that, there was not much service there such as entertaiment and dinning, that could made they felt a litle pooring. However, the children had a memorable childhood, they didn't reach the high quality of education.
In my opinion, the disadvantages of small village were greater than the advantages. There was low standard of living, but the education hadn't high quality. That put the children at a disadvantage.
