The given bar chart provides data on the proportion of females and males who passed their driving test in a nation of Asia area in four different years; 1980, 1990, 2000, and 2010.
Overall, it can be seen that the proportion of females dominated the total rate of people passed the driving test through all fours. Moreover, both the proportion of female and male witnessed an upward trend in the first three years.
In 1980, about 48% was registered as the percentage of females, after which this figure was always over half of the total rate of people passed the driving test. To be more specific, the proportion of females went up marginally to 52% in 1990, and this was followed by reaching the highest point at nearly 70% before dipping to around 64% in the last period.
Regarding males, for the first time, the percentage of the male was just under 30% which was the lowest point of the entire rate of both groups mentioned throughout the four years. This figure had a slight increase to 37% in 1990, after which the proportion climbed sharply to nearly 10% to 49% in 2000 and remained unchanged for the next ten years.
