The provided bar chart highlights the amount of export income of a nation in five different categories in two years 2015 and 2016 combined with the percentage table of changing in each category.
Overall, what stands out from the chart and table are that there was an upward trend in the earnings of petroleum products, engineered goods, agricultural products and textiles, while the other one had a reverse pattern. Noticeably, the value of exports in petroleum products and engineered goods surpassed the others and was the highest in two years.
Looking at the chart and table in detail, it can be seen that in 2015, petroleum products were recorded as the highest income with roughly 60 billion, followed by engineered goods with over half of 50 billion. However, in the next year, if the value of petroleum products just rose 3%, that of engineered goods went up 8.5%, which almost equal to the former.
On top of that there were noticeable points of the rest of three categories, at the beginning of the period, gems and jewellery’s earnings were the most popular, followed by agricultural products and textiles, respectively. After one year, these figures experienced differences. The income of gems and jewellery went down 5.18% but still outweighed the others. Textiles’ earnings witnessed a remarkble increase with over 15% and became equal to the value of agricultural products although it just grow roughly 1%.
