The line chart shows the size of the global population from 1400 to 2000, and the pie charts show the global population by region in 1900 and 2000. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The given line graph illustrates the variations of total Earth population between 1400 and 2000, whereas the pie charts demonstrate the changes in overall population size according to the particular regions in 1900 and 100 years down the line.
Looking from the overall perspective, there was a quite moderate rise in the total population size since 1400 and during tree following hundred years by approximately 300 million people. But what follows is rater different: from 1600 to 1800 the size variations are apparent, as the number was fluctuating between 0,7 to 1,2 billion people. It accounts for equally one billion by the end of 1700s. Throughout the remaining period of time the world population increased sharply firstly by almost 1 billion and ended up on the amount of 6 billion people in 2000.
Turning to population distribution by region, the Asian population accounts for the largest share following by Europeans on the second place over a span of 100 years. Nevertheless, in 1900 Asians constituted 60% of the total amount of world population and the number decreased slightly down to 54$ by the end of 2000. Europe population mad up about a quarter in 1900 but also experienced a decline by 10% in the following hundred years.
Finally, Latin America and Africa seems to have similar patterns as their populations was almost tripled with the passage of the surveyed period: from 3% to 8% and from 4.5% to 13% respectively. Speaking about North Americans, their amount had no changes and balanced at the level of 5%, but there were some variations in the population of other countries, which had almost double increase in the number, totaling 6 % by the end of the 2000.
