The graph indicates the proportion of Internet users in Canada, the USA and Mexico from 1999 to 2009.
Generally, there is an upward trend in the percentage of people using the Internet within 10 years in 3 countries. Furthermore, Canada had a large amount of people accessing the Internet in comparison to the number of Internet users in the USA and Mexico.
In 1999, the figure for the population who used the Internet in the USA was about 20%. However, the figures for Canada and Mexico were lower, at about 10% and 5% respectively. Especially in 2005, Canada and the USA had the same proportion of people who used the Internet at about 70%. While the figure for Mexico reached only 25% in the same year.
By 2009, the percentage of Internet users was highest in Canada. Almost 100% Canadians used the Internet, compared to about 80% of the USA and only 40% of Mexico.
