Both pie charts demonstrate the shopping sales for retail sectors through networking sites in Canada in two specific years 2005 and 2010.
Overall, it is conspicuous that in 2005, the electronics and appliance ranked the first in shopping sales. In 2010, the top sales for Canada retail sectors belonged to the food and beverage area, while home furnishing were by far the least favoured choices among areas.
Specifically, in terms of electronic and appliance saling, the figure was at 35% in 2005 before slightly decreasing by 5% after 5 years. The sales of home furnishings accounted for a quarter of the internet sales in 2005 and then dropped significantly to 15% in 2010.
With regards to video games and food along with beverage sales, the numbers were respectively 18% and 22% in 2005. In 5 years’ time, the people showed more interest in both areas, resulting in the rising of sales by 5% and 10% in order.
