You have seen an advertisement in an Australian magazine for someone to live with a family for six months and look after their six-year-old child.
Write a letter to the parents. In your letter
explain why you would like the job
give details of why you would be a suitable person to employ
say how you would spend your free time while you are in Australia
Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Shwatank Bhasin, and I live in India. I am writing in response to your advertisement which was posted in Australian Magazine past two days. I have prior experience in tutoring at school and I would like to have a part-time job once I move to Australia. Your house is located 10 minutes away from the University of Newcastle where I start my master's degree in engineering. And, I am very keen to look after your child with my best care and attention.
Since I have teaching experience in tutoring primary school pupils, I would be the best applicant for this part-time job. Besides, I have babysat more than twice while I was pursuing my bachelor's in engineering in India. I love to spend time around children because it is so delightful to be around them. Apart from this, my academic results are exceptionally high, as a result, you will not face any problems in terms of communication with you and your lovely child whom I had seen in the magazine.
In most of the time in Australia, I will be occupied studying for my master's degree as well as working in any part-time job. However, during my leisure time, I would like to go and see the breathtaking views of the Australian coastal cities and it's nature. Also, I like to hangouts in clubs and restaurants, especially in new places. Therefore, it would be a great chance to explore new things while I will be living in Australia.
I hope you will approve me to babysit your child for the next six months as per the time of part-time job advertisement that you posted in the magazine.
I am hoping to hear a positive response to this letter.
Yours sincerely,
Shwatank Bhasin
