In your letter
• explain how you found the shop
• describe the item that you would like to sell
• say how much you would like to sell the item for
Dear Sir,
I am writing to inform you that I wish to sell an antique Colt 45 Revolver that I acquired during a Garage Sale, last week.
I would start off by saying that I am an avid antique collector. The gun was apparised from Gerhard valuers- which are not only recognized but also a leading valuers in the market. The revolver is a 1943 Colt 45. It is in good condition apart from the usual wear-tear. As per their conidtion rating, it is a solid 6 and in working condition.
At one of the auction the same gun, but in mint condition, was sold off for USD 5,400. Based on the current condition of the gun and market I am willing go for USD 3,000. I will be travelling to Las Vegas, Nevada next month. You can call your appraiser at that time and then we can negotiate the deal.
I am looking forward to this deal so that we can establish good business relation
Yours sincerely,
Rick Astley
