The diagram illustrates the process of building an igloo.
The diagram gives the information about how to manufacture an igloo.
As can be seen from the diagram, there are 10 main stages involved in the process, beginning with sawing the snow from hard-packed ones and culminating with cutting ventilation holes in the wall made from ice cube.
In particular, the first step of building an igloo is dividing the hard block of snow into several blocks by a saw. After that, place the large ones at the bottom as the base. Before shaping and putting all the ice blocks into an igloo, the edges are cut to be smoother. Subsequently, a hole under the wall is constructed to be the entrance into the igloo. The final step in shaping the frame is to put the largest block on the top of the house.
Next, the igloo is covered by snow and all the crevices are packed by it. After checking the smoothness of the inside by hand, there are snow blocks to cover the hole on the enfrance. Finally, several ventilation holes are cut either on the wall or on the roof.
