The given chart depicts the information of changes in the average prices of residence in New York, Madrid, Tokyo, Frankfurt, and London from 1990 to 2002 as compare to 1989’s overall house prices.
Overall, it is clear from the graph that values of residence in London had drastic changes in the given years, While in Frankfurt, there were not big changes in the costs of houses in the given time period.
To begin with, in New York in 1990-1995 period the costs of residence were decreased to -5 percentage as compare to 1989, after 1995 to 2002 the prices were increased dramatically to +5%. In 1990 to 1995 the value of house increased around 2% and in next 6 years it also raised to 4%. 3% of surge in Frankfurt in 1990 to 1995, furthermore in 1996 to 2002 the prices of house were reduce to 1% as compare to 1989. The highest change was seen in the prices of residence in the London which was at -7% in first six years from 1990 and the prices were sharply raised to +12% in 1996 to 2002, which was the highest among all the cities. In Tokyo average value of house decreased to -7% from 1990 to 1995 and reached at -5% in next 6 years.
