The diagram below shows the typical stages of consumer goods manufacturing, including the process by which information is fed back to earlier stages to enable adjustment.
The given diagram depicts various typical modes of manufacturing good including the fist stage of enabling follows up by the whole process from where the information is given by consumer.
Overall, it is clear that the flow of information started with adding raw materials and manufactured components to storage. However, the flow of getting feedback from information is carried through design. Morever, advanced checking of the product can be seen during market research.
To begin with, storage takes the manufactured components and raw materials and then moved to production planning where the feedback is given to the storage. Further on, from production planning good have been transferred for assembling, inspection and testing. During testing of product, feeback was processed for design and then simultaneously it moved for packaging then dispatch of the product take place. Finally, sales is done while passing on review to the production planning department.
On the other hand, product understanding is done and designing take place which then goes under producting planning and follow basic step to undergo like assembling, inspection, testing, packaging, dispatch and sales. However, a major transfer of review giving during sale of product, one to the production planner and other to the market researcher, over there feeback is giving in three forms that is to the advertising and packing department and also for design team.
