The pictures indicate the new appearance of Southwest airport next year when it is compared to a regular airport. Overview, the new airport contains more facilities than the present one and it may be extended the space of the airport to make it more comfortable for commuters.
The data given from these pictures indicate that the regular airport does not possess the Y shape area; however, the new one in the plan will be added the new Y shape to extend the place of the airport and new gates will be built around the Y shape. Moreover, the sky train will be established to assist passengers in transporting to the gates easier than the regular shape with the walkway.
Furthermore, more facilities are being built in both the departure and arrival places. The new one is going to possess new facilities such as a bag drop area on the departure side behind the security passport control and shops for shopping in front of the same area. In addition, on the arrival side and behind the passport control customs, some facilities like coffee shop, ATM and car hire section. More front doors are going to be built to solve problems in the peak season.
