The column chart provided below describes data about adults with high school level education in six different countries in the year 2010. The six countries are Germany, USA, Russia, South Korea, Brazil, and China. The data is calibrated in percentage.
It is clear that the graph contains the information for two different age groups one is for adult age 55 to 64 years, and another is for the adults aged 25 to 34 years. In case of Germany, about 72% age of 55-64 year olds, and as many as 78% of 25-34-year-olds had high-school education. For the USA, 80% of 55-64 year-olds, and about 88% of 25-34 year olds were high school graduates. In case of Russia, only 70% of 55-64 year-olds, and as high as 91% of 25-34 year-olds had at least high school level education. In the case of Russia, the gap between the two age-group groups was surprising. Only 42% of 55-64 year-olds, and as many as 98% of 25-34 year-olds had high school level graduation.
The graph also shows surprising data for the countries Brazil and China. Both of the countries had the lowest percentage of adults with high school level education. In the case of China, as low as 10% of 55-64 year-olds, and only 20% of 25-34 year-olds head high school level education.
In conclusion, South Korea had highest percentage of 25 to 34 year-olds with education at high school, whereas the USA had highest percentage of 55-64 year-olds with high school level education. Moreover, China had the lowest percentage of 55-64 year-olds, as well as 25 to 34 year old with high school level education.
