the diagram below illustrates how a simple water filter is constructed and how it functions to produce clean drinking water. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the diagram below.
The drawing demonstrates the equipment and the operation of a simple filter.
Overall, it is clear that there are numerous main stages in the process, beginning with the impure water and finish in the drinking water storage tank as a final product.
To begin with, in the mental and containers, there are 3 filtering layers, namely sand, charcoal, and gravel, with sand at the top and gavel at the bottom. At this point, impure water is put into a metal container with a wooden top. There is a pipeline that carries clean water from the filtered container to the drinking water storage tank which the clean water can be taken out for drinking through a small tap that is attached to the bottom part of the tank.
Turning to how the filter waterworks, at the first stage, the impure water is passed through a sand layer and then flowed down the charcoal layer to refine the water, remove the organisms. After that, the water is passed down the final layer of the filter materials, gravel, for keeping some deposits. Ultimately, the clean water is migrated to the storage tank and through a tap can get clean water to drink
