The line graph illustrates the percentage of Australian citizens who were born in Asia, the UK, and other regions from 1976 to 2011.
Overall, the proportion of Asian people and other regions lived in Australia, which rose gradually while the Britans decrease and there was a downward then rose up in total.
First of all, the Uk people lived in Australia took up nearly 15% in 1976 before declining dramatically to 5% in 2011. Similarly, there was a decrease on the percentage of Other religion people who stayed in Australia from 11% in 1976 to 7% in 1986. However, this figure witnessed a huge change which it increased rapidly to 14.5% in 2006, but it decreased slightly to 13% in the next 5 years.
On the other hand, the figure for Asian population who lived in Australia became the highest percentage after rising significantly over 35 years, which from 3% up to 15%.
Lastly, The total made up 23% in 1976 and there was a rapid decline in this figure to nearly 20% in 25 years later then it increased and reached the peak with 25% in 2011.
