The chart below gives information about the amount of time children spend with their parents
The illustrated bar chart provides information about how much time children spare with their mothers and fathers across five age ranges.
As can be seen from the chart, children spend most time with their moms on weekdays. The amount of this time fluctuates between 4.4 and 5.8 hours among all ages. In contrast, children just spend 1 to more than 2 hours with their dads. Both dads and moms are with the kids for 1 to 2 hours on weekdays.
A more detailed look into the bar chart reveals that on the weekends, children spend a considerable amount of time with their parents. The family is all together for more than 5 hours during weekends. However, kids spare considerably lower hours with their dad which is less than 2 hours across all age groups. Besides, children stay with their moms for 2 to 4 hours on the weekends.
In conclusion, children seem to spend more hours with their parents on the weekends in consideration to weekdays. Children aged 4-5 spend the highest amount of time with moms and dads on the weekends while kids aged 8-9 take the first positions on weekdays.
