the charts show average levels of participation in education and the highest education levels of adults from 2000 to 2010 in Singapore
Given are the pie chart and the bar chart revealing that the total levels of those who took part in education and the highest level of education changed between 2000 and 2010 in Singapore.
Overall, it is immediately apparent that the number of adult males that participating was much more than the figures of adult females and the gap between them was rising over time. While high school and university were the highest proportion of educational qualifications in 2000 and 2010, master qualification went through the most significant change in the period.
As can be seen from the bar graph, the following 10 years saw minimal growth in adult males, which reached a peak of just under 12% in 2010. During the same period, the number of adult females began to rise from 8% in 2000 and 9% in 2010, which was almost 20% less than that of males.
Regarding the pie chart, it is clear that university and master qualification recorded an exponential growth to around 32,93% and 30,31%, whereas the figures for primary, secondary, and high school all dropped sharply over the period. In fact, primary school qualification declined drastically with just only 2,1%, which was also the lowest percentage in 2010, compared with the highest proportion, nearly 33% of university qualification
