Overall, There was a fluctuation in the number of train passengers while there was a rise in the percentage that trains running on time and always running on time in the last 2 years.
First of all, over 35 millions kilometers of trains which went in 2000 then increased moderately to over 40 millions in 2 years later. This figure of train distance witnessed a huge change that fall to bottom at 36 millions in 2003 before reaching the peak at more than 45 millions in 2005. Secondly, The figure for the distance of trains decreased gradually to nearly 40 millions then remained stable around this number until 2009.
Finally, the target percentage was 95% from 2000 to 2009, while the proportion of train that make it in time in the first year was lower by 3% then increased sharply to overcome the target, which higher by 2% in 2004. However, there was a significant decline of trains running in time percentage to 92% in 2 years later but rose back to 97% then unchaged it in the period 2008 to 2009.
