The data given in the chart indicates the proportion of people who got driving licences after driving tests in an Asian country during the period of 30 years (from 1980 to 2010).

Overall, it can be easily inferred from the chart that women passed more than men did in almost periods.

In the women group, women who passed the tests accounted for many less the proportion in 1980 than 1990 (under 50% and over 50%, respectively). There was a significant increase in the proportion of people who passed approximately 20% from 1990 to 2000; however, in 2010, the percentage of women who passed dipped slightly at around 65%.

Turning to the men group, the percentage of men who got licences accounted for approximately under 30% in 1980, compared with under 40% in 1990. There was a stable remain in the proportion of people who passed in 2000 and 2010 (just under 50%)
