The given graph show the number of incidents in 3 different area in New Port City Center
The line graph below illustrates the data about the proportion of crimes committed in three types of offence named Burglary, Car Theft and Robbery in New Port City center in a period of 9 years between 2003 and 2012.
Overall, the incidences of Burglary and Car Theft declined steadily in the beginning period and stabilized at the end of the period, while the figures for Robbery remained stable over the period, helping the incidences of Car Theft become the main criminal trend at the end of the period.
In 2003, the most popular crimes occurred in New Port City center was Burglary, with the report of the incident being approximately 3500. This was far higher than Car Theft which was around 2700 incidents; and underwent sevenfold more than Robbery which remained above 500 incidents. However , the incidences of Bullary fell down dramatically over a 5-year timescale, before remaining gradually until just under 1250 incidents occurred.
By contrast, Car Theft became a more popular crime at much higher levels. Moreover,apart from a brief fall from 2005 to 2006, the incidences of Car Theft increased gradually and overtook the incidences of Burglary. The figure then remained at the end of the period. But, the incidences of Robbery still remained constant over the period and become the least crimes happened in New Port City Center
