It is undeniable that computers are becoming an indispensable part of our lives especially playing computer games. However, this brings both positive and negative effects.
On the one hand, playing computer games helps people relax after the tiring work time; thus, people's brain and spirit are refreshed. In this way, playing games is a good choice to relax and find interest through many great games. There are many useful games to enhance people's intellect such as playing chess, quiz games, and so on. People use a computer to play games also play an important role in our lives balance. It is a selection to reduce stress from learning and have funny leisure time.
On the other hand, playing computer games also has negative impacts on mental and physical. Spending too much time playing games conduces games addiction without engaging in any activities outdoor. This harms bad effects on our bodies because they sit too long time while a body needs to activate frequently to improve health and spirit. Besides, playing games addiction makes the brain stressed and tiring after playing games for a long time. Children cannot study carefully and lead to learning distraction.
To minimize the bad consequences of playing computer games parents can limit the time of playing games for children and regulate the time frame to allow them to play. Another solution to solve this problem is that we give children to take part in useful programs to develop themselves like helping people in need, or attending meaningful projects for old people and disabled people.
To sum up, for the above-mentioned reasons, I am firmly conviction that playing computer games has both pros and cons for people especially children and we need to have the appropriate ways to decline badly influences of it.
