It is undeniable that tourism is becoming one of the interests of many people around the world especially organized tours to remote communities and other countries are increasing these days. In my viewpoint, I think that it brings both positive and negative development for local people and the environment.
On the one hand, tours to remote communities and other countries help local people advance in terms of the economy. In this way, local citizens can make a lot of money and develop multiple attractive tourists projects. In addition, local culture may spread strongly and become one of special part attraction for tourists. Besides, the local landscape of destinations also are recommended to many others and they become a wonderful place for people would like to come to. The more people know these destinations, the more chances tours help both tourism companies and local people and the local environment. Indeed, the effects on tourism are extremely big and they affect a great number of aspects, ranging from culture, society, economy to transport.
On the other hand, this type of tourism has negative effects. Many people going to famous places became a serious concern to the local environment. These days, tourists still have the habit is that throwing trash in public places, in particular, attractive destinations. Thus, this status conduces environmental pollution such as plastics pollution, water pollution and so on. For example, water contains a great amount of trash which is emitted by people, so water sources cannot use normally as before. People even destroy the landscape around to take a photo or shoot a video. Moreover, local residents also are influenced when these places have too many people go there. It makes traffic congestion, noise pollution, and they feel annoyed and angry because of it.
To sum up, for the above-mentioned reasons, I am firmly convictions that organized tours to remote communities and other countries have both benefits and drawbacks for local people and the local environment.
