The graph below shows how people buy music.
The given line chart illustrates the expenditure of people purchasing three types of listening to music.
At the first glance, there was a significant variance in the percentage of music methods. The sale of streams expressed an upward trend, while the data of all the methods decreased from the year 2011 to 2018.
As the obvious feature in the graph, the portion of streams rocket remarkably by over 40% in eight years. Moreover, in 2018 the method of streaming reached the most impressive number when comparing to another methods.
In contrast, people spend money on purchasing CDs as well as downloading music witnessed a noticeable plummet. From 2011 to 2018 the ratio of CDs purchased dropped significantly by approximately 30%. Although it reached a peak at under 60% in 2011, the number of purchasing CDs hit the lowest point in 2018. Follow the similar trend people downloaded music expressed a fluctuation in nearly one decade. The proportion of downloaded went up from over 30% to nearly a half in the first five years, whereas it decreased speedly in the years later.
