suggest how your friend could help you find a job
You should write at least 150 words.
Dear Asiya,
I'm excited to let you know that I'd be travelling soon to Canada to persue my higher studies.
Recently, I received the offer letter from Humber College stating that my classes shall begin from this fall at the end of September. I've managed to get a seat in Urban planning batch of M.Arch degree. This means that we will get a lot of time to spend together. My classes function only on weekdays from 9 am to 12pm and there are no lectures on weekends.
Because I will have ample time, I wanted to look for a part-time job. Even though I will carry few funds to survive there; I was wondering if you could help me find a decent place to work. It would really help me pay all the bills like house rent, groceries, telephone and electricity.
Our common friend Josh told me that you worked part-time as a waiter in many restaurants for almost two years. I'm sure you must have good rapport with your managers given your extrovert nature. If you could put in a good word for me that would be great!
Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Lots of Love,
Alex.
