The number of research students based on studying six computer science subjects, divided into two gender categories (female and male) is shown in the graph. Overall, what stands out from the graph is that most of the female research students have educational background in natural sciences, psychology and linguistics, while male research students are evenly spread in all of majors.
Looking at details, data showed male research students whose major subjects at US University evenly distributed. Psychology, Natural Sciences, Mathematics were the number one of major’s background, which was chosen by 200. Subsequently, Engineering and Programming were the second on the list, accounted for 150. The lowest number for male research students based on major subject is Linguistic, at comprised of under 100.
Taking this data report, the female research students only has 200 in one category, such as natural sciences. Psychology was the second list on the data, with over 150. Moreover, mathematics illustrated a reverse, whereas just under 50 female research students.
