The table gives data about how much scores in avarage that examinees in Germany, France, Vietnam and Malaysia finished an IELTS Test with 4 skills in the year 2009.
Overall, all 4 coutries got high scores from the Ielts speaking test, much higher than 3 other skills, while the average score of the reading test in Vietnam and France is the lowest. Malaysian examinees who joined in the Ielts writing test didn’t get a total average high score, which was the lowest compared to the scores of other skills on the Ielts test in 2009.
Mention to two countries: Germany & Malaysia. Students from Germany had the highest score in the Ielts speaking test, and higher than that score in France, by 6.9 and 6.8 respectively. It’s clear from the table that the candidates from Malaysia didn’t do the writing test well, only get an average scores of 6.0, whereas the Germany students wasn’t good at reading skill, with the band scores of 6.3 – the lowest scores of 4 skills in German IELTS test.
Switch to two other countries: Vietnam & France. In 2009, the overall scores test in average in France was 6.7, which was more than 0.2 points for the overall Ielts score test in Vietnam. We can see from the table, the average total score on an IELTS test in both countries was the same in reading and listening skill, but the average score for Ielts listening test wass higher than that in reading test in .
