The given line graphs illustrate the information about ownership of electrical appliances and number of hours spent doing housework in a city over a period of 19 years, starting from 1920.
Overall, the proportion of household machines had increased significantly, with refrigerators and vacuum cleaners owned for all family members. In the next picture, we can see the amount of time for housework declined slightly.
In the first chart, the refrigerators shooted up enormously from 1920 to 1980. After 39 years, it reached the highest point. The washing machine climbed minimally about 20% between 1920 and 2019. Although the vacuum was starting in 1920 smaller than washing machines, however, it had hit the peak of the first line after 80 years and then the vacuum moderately on the peak.
Opposite the first graph, the second graph had total decreased slightly. From 1920 to 1960, the amount of time for households plunged minimally. Since 1960, it had step by step about 15 hours per week.
