The chart gives information about the daily minimum and maximum levels of SO2 and NO2, which causes air pollution in 4 different metropolises (Los Angeles, Calcutta, Beijing, and Mexico) in the year 2000. It is clear that Mexico was the highest and while the opposite was true for Calcutta.
As can be seen in the bar chart, In Los Angeles, the quantity of SO2 discharged into the atmosphere was the lowest of all cities, with the daily minimum at 2 micrograms per m3 and a maximum average of fives times as much, an average 10 microgram per m3 The levels of NO2 emissions were much higher with the levels of daily maximum reaching up to more than 104 micrograms per m3. Meanwhile, In Mexico, the levels of NO2 and SO2 average maximum and minimum were the highest in 4 cities, at 207 and 200 respectively.
Looking at the chart in more detail, in contrast with Los Angeles and Mexico City, the amount of NO2 average minimum in Calcutta and Beijing reached the lowest point at 30 and 14 micrograms per m3, respectively. The levels of SO2 average maximum in Mexico City was 2 times higher than that of Calcutta.
