The two maps depict the changes to a public park names Arnold Avenue from 1920 to this day. Overall, it has more entertainment facilities and green areas are cut down.
In 1920, there was a stage for musicians with two nearby seating areas in the west of the park. However, they are now replaced by an amphitheatre for concerts. Furthermore, there were two gardens of roses with two areas of seats next to them, but then they are flattened leaving one rose garden in the northern west. And there was also a fountain between the northern and southern entrances of the park. It is now the place of a rose garden with surrounding seating areas.
On the other hand, in the east of Arnold Avenue, a café and a play area for children are built in place of the rose garden and the pond for water plants respectively. Also, the glasshouse in the southern east was demolished to construct the water feature. The seats nearby are now the entrance to underground car park.
