The maps show a road system as it is now and the proposed changes in future to reduce the number of accidents. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.
Given are the two maps delineating the predicted transformations of a Road System over a course of time in an effort to limit accident cases.
It is perceptible that the Road Structures are supposed to experience safety modifications with the elimination of unnecessary parts of some roads along with the addition of traffic lights and a roundabout at some intersections.
When it comes to the east side of the Forest Road, which directs from north-east to south-west and crosses the west-to-east City Road, there is a current supermarket linked with the City Road by an unnamed lane. It is envisioned that in the future, a roundabout is proposed to be built at the intersection of these two roads which seemingly connects to the supermarket directly to lessen the number of accidents.
Moving to the west of the Forest Road, there are some amenities such as School in the north-west of the map and 2 residential areas settled down on each side of the Low Lane. After a course of time, a projection is to install traffic lights at the former junction to avoid incidents due to the high volume of traffic from school, meanwhile, at the opposite end, the low lane is likely to be reconstructed. Another potential change that could be expected is the reconstruction of City Road which directly moves from west to east.
