the graph shows the number of people having own car in the uk between 1971 and 2007
it can be seen that the percentage of households owning one car was the most popular in the most year while people having more than two cars was the fewest. In 1971, the proportion of families owning car was nearly 45% whereas people with two cars was only 8%, approximately 50% of people who did not have any car in Britain. And it is almost uncommon for households owning three or more cars, at about 2%. There was a tremendous changes in 2007. Family having no car experienced a considerable decline, to 25%. By contrast, people with two cars or more tended to increase steadily, at around 25% and 7% respectively. on the contrary, the families owning one car stayed unchanged
