You have lost your credit card.
Write a letter to the manager of your bank. In the letter
explain how you lost the card
ask the manager to cancel the old card and issue you a replacement.
Dear Sir/Madam,
Regarding my credit card from RBC Bank, I am writing to inform you that I lost it and request a new one.
I am Sepideh Asgari with bank account number 215368. About two months ago, I migrated to Canada and opened a student bank account in your highly renowned bank with my SIN number which is 58654. After two weeks, I received a credit card in my mailbox.
Yesterday, a bunch of intimate friends of mine and I went to an Iranian restaurant called Shater Abbas on Young Street. Since they were my guest, I paid for the food with my credit card. Having arrived at my home, I realized that my card is not in my pocket. I called the restaurant manager and told him the story, but he did not have any information about it.
Since some might use my credit card, I immediately blocked it through my online banking. Hence, I, kindly, appeal to you to cancel and replace it with a new one.
Highly appreciated it if you could send me the newly issued card to my mail address. If you need more information, please let me know.
Thank you in advance. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Sepideh Asgari
